Experiment of chrome conversion in coating for silicon steel during heat treatment

Abstract:Effect of solidifying and stress relief annealing technology on chrome conversion in chromate coating is studied. The results show that rate of hexavalent chrome conversion increases significantly and then increase slowly. Content of hexavalent chrome decreases obviously when stress relief annealing temperature and time increase.
