Abstract：As one of the research hotspots of magnetostrictive material Fe-Ga alloys with lower saturation magnetic field,higher mechanical strength,lower cost characteristics,that is better than the giant magnetostrictive materials and traditional magnetostrictive materials so that it can be used widely in some adverse conditions.The recent development about its compositions,preparing processes,heat treatment and application were introduced.
