Abstract：Two kinds of infrared powder with different shades of color were producted in the experiment.Transition metal oxides were the main raw materials. At the same time, factors affecting of its infrared radiation performance was studied, such as material ratio and firing temperature. The results showed that the great enhancing occured on the infrared emissivity when the powder was heated to a high temperature. The best sintered temperature of the dark powder was 1220 ℃.
