Abstract：A novel technology of SHS ceramic liner technology was proposed through adding graphite rod in the reaction to solve the problem that the length of the small- caliber SHS ceramic- lined composite pipe prepared by traditional technology. A small- diameter ceramic- lined composite pipe with a length of 650 mm was successfully prepared which proved that the new technology was capable to improve the length of the composite pipe. The coating of the small- diameter ceramic- lined composite pipe was about 2 mm which has a dense structure and closely combined with the matrix. All of the mechanical properties tested in the paper of the sample made by new technology were better than the sample made by traditional technology.
