Abstract:The 16Mn of 12 mm thick steel plate welding procedure test was made by using SAW The SAW welding process parameters on the deposited metal and the influence of joint microstructure and properties were analyzed through joint macroscopic measurement, microstructure analysis, microhardness test and impact test at room temperature The results show that the affect of SAW current, voltage on joint macro dimensionIn medium specification (current 540 A,voltage 36 V,welding speed 32 m/h),the joint organization fine uniform and better toughness, the impact absorption power of weld zone and heat affected zone were 92 J and 72 J respectively, increased by 2737% and 3699% respectively than other samples.
